Ann Dorsey, 81, of Greenfield

Graveside Services: Will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenfield Cemetery. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com. 

Memorials: May be directed to the Ann Dorsey Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date. 

Ann Marie Dorsey was born on March 15, 1943, the daughter of Alvie Everett and Marie (Moon) Moulton in Pocahontas, Iowa. She passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her home in Greenfield, Iowa, at the age of 81.

Ann grew up in Pocahontas and graduated from high school there. She lived in Iowa and New Mexico. She was a dietician, cook, homemaker and caretaker for her father after several strokes. She worked at several nursing homes and various restaurants. Ann enjoyed cooking/baking, visiting with friends and family, and playing the Iowa Lottery scratchers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 48 years, Joe Dorsey, Don Niles (father of three children), daughter, Teresa Madrid; brothers, Arthur and Jerald Moulton; and sister, Mae Bjorklund.

She is survived by her three children, Terry Niles and wife Brenda of Centerville, Iowa, Fran Sena and husband Gene of Fort Sumner, New Mexico and David Dorsey of Greenfield; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Pat Moulton and Diane Moulton; other relatives and friends.
