Carol attended school in Richland graduating in 1956.  After graduation she stayed with her parents to help on the family farm near Richland for a year.  She then moved to Des Moines and worked in the mailroom for Bell Telephone.  Carol loved school, her friends, basketball and most of all dancing.  On March 9, 1958, she married Arden Kramer and resided on the farm in rural Orient (Zion) area.   She worked alongside of Arden on the farm and was known as a great cook and usually had a kid or two to take care of during those activities.

Carol enjoyed attending family sporting events and was supportive of her children & grandchildren’s special talents. Sewing, shopping, reading books, playing cards and dancing were some of her favorite pastimes.  She was baptized in the Hill of Zion Church, was a member of the Hill of Zion Church and was active in the Zion Evening Circle.

Carol will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s several years ago and the past year had become difficult for her.  During the past year Carol spent time at Prairie View Assisted Living in Creston and at The Clearview Home in Clearfield.   The family was very thankful for all of the great care she received and the people that visited her.  Carol was able to spend her last holiday season at home.    Her past two birthdays were celebrated with family, friends, classmates and cousins. She had a great time reminiscing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, A.C. and Anna Kramer; granddaughter, Cassie Christina Kramer; sister, Colleen Johnson; brothers, Doug Antisdel and Gene Antisdel in infancy; granddaughter-in-law, Megan Justice Skellenger; brothers-in-law, Bill Harry and Marvin Johnson.

Yesterday late afternoon my mom passed away. Although I will miss her so much, I pray that she can now see clearly, not shake and I hope she is jitterbugging with the angels. Love and miss you mom.
