Dale Christensen, 63, of Greenfield

Dale Christensen passed away April 2, 2025, in Greenfield, Iowa. He was born on July 25, 1961, in Greenfield, and was the third of five sons born to Harold and Betty.

Dale grew up in Greenfield, where he developed a passion for cars that would shape his lifelong career. He married the love of his life, Brenda Howes, on July 17, 1983. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. In December 1984, they welcomed their daughter, Elisha, who was his pride and joy.

A skilled and dedicated auto technician for over 45 years, Dale owned and operated Christensen Auto Repair Service in Greenfield for 26 years, earning the trust and respect of his community. Beyond his work, Dale found joy in riding his Honda 1800 Gold Wing with Brenda, spending time with their beloved little dog, Teddi Pearl, and indulging in anything related to cars.

Dale is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Brenda; daughter, Elisha (Christopher) Johnson; and cherished grandchildren, Annika and Nathan. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and his father-in-law.

Dale’s kindness, humor, and love for family will be deeply missed but forever remembered. In keeping with Dale’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
