Denise McMartin

Denise Beardmore-McMartin died in her home surrounded by family on April 17th, 2016 in Massena, IA after a courageous battle from lung cancer.

Denise was born on January 31st, 1961 Topeka, KS to her parents, Jim and Sandra (Koch) Beardmore. She graduated at Bellevue West High School in 1979. She married Greg McMartin December 26th, 1987 where they lived on the McMartin family farm in Massena, IA.

Denise is survived by her husband, Greg, son Cale of Massena, daughter and son-in-law Haley and Alex Rogers of Bellevue, NE, her step-granddaughter, Addison of Bellevue, NE, her aunt Sharon Parks of Bellevue, NE, and her parents Jim and Sandra of Bellevue, NE. She is preceded in death by her mother and father in law, Ken and Jodie McMartin, and sisters Beth and Jeanne Beardmore.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life April 30th, 2016 at the family farm, 72715 Seattle Rd, Massena, IA 50853 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to the Massena Volunteer Fire Department. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.
