He attended school at the Bridgewater-Fontanelle schools from kindergarten until his high school graduation in 1976. Dev spent his entire life in Fontanelle and had numerous jobs including managing the CO-OP tire room, working on a hog farm, Cardinal Glass and G&H Trucking.
Dev married Connie (Chandler) Mack of Greenfield on October 4, 2007. Dev’s children are Amanda McCurdy and husband Troy of Atlantic and their children Brianna, Shelbi, Jolyssa and Shawn. Dev hunted and fished when he was younger and he was a very good baseball pitcher in Junior High and Highschool. He was also a very good foosball, ping pong and pool player. He loved working in his yard or garage and was always tinkering on something or repairing mowers or vehicles. He was most passionate about fishing, usually with Connie or one of his daughters and there weren’t many farm ponds in the area that he hadn’t fished. Dev loved his family and friends and he was always thinking of them. Dev loved to text and visit with his long list of friends on Facebook.
