Funeral Services: Will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church with burial following in the Fontanelle Cemetery.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Sunday, July 20th, at the Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Emily Michelle Eivins was born November 18, 1987, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roger and Cristy (Stanturf) Queck. Our first sign of her musical talent was evident in her high pitched cry that melted her daddy’s heart. She passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the Mercy Hospice in Johnston at the age of 26. Emily was baptized on May 28th 1988 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle, Iowa and accepted Jesus Christ at a young age. Emily was active in our church puppet ministry in Oklahoma and when we moved being confident in her puppetry skills with the help of mom, dad and her brothers started a new team in Iowa teaching others to share the Parables and her love for Christ.
Emily attended elementary school in Oklahoma and Leon, Iowa. She graduated from Nodaway Valley High School in 2006. She achieved Varsity letters in Instrumental music, band, vocal music, cheerleading, drama and various sports. She had worked as a life guard at the Greenfield pool. She went on to college at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids and DMAAC in Ankeny. Sales for American Eagle, insurance sales for Nationwide and AAA, bookkeeper for Shahan and Walsh, and insurance sales for Pro Team Insurance.
On September 10, 2011, she was united in marriage to Brandon Eivins in the Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles, Iowa. Her life was also blessed with the birth of a beautiful daughter Natalee Ann on December 14, 2007 and a handsome son, Brock Alexander July 23, 2010.
Emily dearly loved time with family and her many friends, music, singing, playing cards and other board games, shopping, eating sushi with friends. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Brandon Eivins of St. Charles; daughter, Natalee Ann Eivins; son, Brock Alexander Eivins; parents, Roger and Cris Queck of Fontanelle; two brothers, Lance Queck and wife Katie of Ankeny and Adam Queck of Urbandale; brother-in-law, Dusty Rucker of Truro; father and mother-in-law, Brian and Lucinda Murphy of Truro; paternal grandparents, Bob and Barb Queck of rural Orient; maternal grandparents, Leslie and Janet Stanturf of Branson, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
