Gerald Cave

Atlas Cave, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017, at the Community Care Center in Stuart, Iowa. 

Celebration of Life Services: Will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Dexter, Iowa with burial in the South Oak Cemetery in Stuart with full military graveside rites conducted by the Dexter American Legion Post No. 719. A luncheon will be held at the Dexter American Legion following the committal services at the cemetery. Pastor Jill Leveck will officiate the service.  

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the United Methodist Church in Dexter from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Atlas Cave memorial fund to be established by the family. 

Survivors: He is survived by his children, Gary Cave (Robin) of Stuart, Ruth Easter (Randy) of Redfield, Ronnie Cave (Berlinda) of Bentonville, Arkansas, Patty Garwood (Tim) of Dexter and Janice Thomas (Max) of Stuart; brother, Bill Cave (Bev) of Stuart; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
