James Johnson, 41, of Mesa, AZ (formerly of Greenfield)

James Johnson passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. 

Celebration of Life Services: Will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle, Iowa, with burial in the Fontanelle Cemetery. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Open Visitation: Will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. 

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. 

Memorials: May be directed to your local animal shelter of your choice. 

Survivors: James is survived by parents Randy and Patty Johnson, Urbandale, Iowa and Kris and Landy Ogburn, Greenfield, Iowa. His siblings Wes and Catie Johnson, their daughter Stella, of Lisbon, Iowa; Tom and Carolyn Johnson of Wesley Chapel, Florida; Kim Johnson of Greenfield, Iowa; and John Henry Ogburn and Hope Deets of Ames, Iowa and his step-brothers Phil Mueller and daughter Ava of Urbandale, Iowa; Aaron and Rebecca Mueller and children Tirzah, Titus, and Monroe of Medford, Oregon; and Bobby and Valeri Mueller of Des Moines, Iowa. Additionally, he will be greatly missed by his very special friend, Raeschelle Wood, of Mesa, Arizona. He also leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, classmates, and coworkers.
