Lloyd Hartley, 80, of Greenfield

Funeral Services: Will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield with burial in the Greenfield Cemetery at a later date. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. Mr. Gary Freeland will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com. 

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Sunday, December, 15, 2024, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Memorials: May be made to the Lloyd Hartley Memorial Fund to be established at a later date. 

Lloyd Lyle Hartley was born July 6th 1944 at his grandparents home near Fontanelle. The son of Irma (Eddy) and Albert Hartley. He passed away December 10th 2024 at the Creston Specialty Care in Creston, Iowa at the age of 80. 

Lloyd was raised and educated in Adair county, Iowa. On May 6th 1967 he was united in marriage to Dianne Rinehart at the Orient United Methodist Church. To this union 3 children were born Lori, Kelly and Terri. They lived their married life east of Greenfield on a small hobby farm. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially loved being with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Irma Eddy; wife, Dianne Hartley; sisters, Frances Keenan and Bernice Hartley; and brother Larry Hartley.

He is survived by his three children, Lori McKim and husband Larry of Greenfield, Kelly Hartley and wife Jennifer of Greenfield and Terri Grant and husband Adrian of Stanton; three grandchildren Hunter Bishop of Shelby, Iowa, Shelly Kelly of Ankeny, Iowa and Lauren Juhl of Stanton, Iowa. Five great grandchildren Jaden Kelly, Jordan Kelly, Mia Kelly, Dawson Kelly and Traevon Kelly other relatives and friends.
