Pat Bower, 84, of Atlantic (formerly of the Anita & Bridgewater areas)

Pat Bower passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at his home in Atlantic. 

Funeral Services:  Will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bridgewater Activity Center with burial following in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery north of Bridgewater.  A luncheon will follow the burial at the Bridgewater Activity Center.  The Lamb Funeral Home in Massena is in charge of the professional arrangements.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com. 

Family Visitation:  The family will greet friends on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Bridgewater Activity Center from 9:30 a.m. until service time. 

Memorials:  Memorials may be directed to the Pat Bower Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date. 

Louis Patrick Bower was born in Bridgewater, Iowa, to Leroy and Mary "Alice" (Mills) Bower on May 7, 1940.  Sharing his life on the farm were brothers Bill, Don, Dean, Jerry, Tom and Dave.  Sisters Mary Jean, Margaret, Mardelle and Marcia. 

In 1958, Pat and Cecelia Ward married and added Steve, Doug, Brian, Kevin and Donna to the Bower family. 

Since then, many precious grandchildren, great grandchildren, step children and step grandchildren have joined the family. 

Pat and Diana Heuckendorf married in 1984 and have spent 40 plus years watching this family grow into adults to be very proud of.  Every one of them are Pat’s pride and joy.
