Lucille Draman

Funeral Services: Will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Orient United Methodist Church with burial in the Orient Cemetery. Pastor Cathy Nutting will officiate. A luncheon will be held at the church following the committal services at the cemetery. 

Open Visitation: Friends may call at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield. 

Memorials: Memorials may be directed to the Lucille Draman memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date. 

Lucille Florence Draman was born February 2, 1919, in Casey, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Bertha (James) Jensen. She passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Adair County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield, Iowa, at the age of 99.

Lucille grew up in Casey, Iowa, and then moved to the Stuart/Menlo area. On December 24, 1938, she was united in marriage to Roy Draman in Shenandoah, Iowa. To this union five children were born: Karen, Betty, Kenneth, Richard and Don.

Lucille was the capable wife as mentioned in Proverbs. She supported her husband and family faithfully. She enjoyed dancing, traveling with / to family and was always ready for a game of dominos. She always appreciated visits from her many old and young friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Draman in 2004; brother, Willis Jensen; sisters, Lora Nungesser and Marie Cochran.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Farlow and husband Dean of Manhatten, Montana and Betty Omyer and husband Grover of Bend, Oregon; three sons, Kenneth Draman and wife Mary of Winterset, Richard Draman and wife Chantal of Orient and Don Draman and wife Sandy of Gilroy, California; 15 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
