Baby Lydia Stofer

Lydia was born prematurely at 23 weeks due to severe pregnancy complications on September 1st, 2022 at 3:02pm, weighing 13.5 oz and measuring 9.75 inches long. She was baptized into Christ immediately after birth and spent an hour of life in her Daddy’s hands, knowing nothing but love, comfort, and the Grace of God.

Lydia is survived by her father and mother, Michael and Simonne Stofer, her older sisters Naomi and Eliza, all of Greenfield. Lydia is also survived by grandparents, Dennis and Rita Stofer of West Des Moines, Allen and Robin Hale of Adair, her uncle and aunt, Ethan and Larissa Zepp, and cousins Everett and Carmen, of Creston, her aunt Moriah Hale of Waukee, and her great grandparents, Lyle and Dotti Hale of West Des Moines and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and other family.
