Mary Rubio received her crown on March 13, 2024 at the age of 66. She is preceded in death by her mother Elojia Longoria, father Nieves Garcia, sister Juanita Reyes, great grandson Adrian Ramirez and 2 heavenly angels. She is survived by her husband Bonifacio Rubio, Daughter Margarita Doege, Daughter Julia & Jon Norwood, Daughter Claudia & Jorge Martinez, son Bonifacio Roberto Jr & Christine Rubio, son Javier & Jennifer Rubio. Out of these unions, 19 grand children and 11 great grand children were created. She was also survived by 2 nephews, Jonathan Reyes and family and Jacob Reyes and family.

Mary was born in Gonzales, Texas, and this is where she met her husband, Bonifacio Rubio. They spent the next 49 years loving each other and enjoying life, kids, grandkids, and eventually great grandkids. She lived and breathed life into her family, Mary would look forward to all holidays to have her kids under one roof. When the grandchildren came into her life, she was determined to show more love. She would get to planning her new gift for the new babies and no project was too big or too small to complete. That was her, love and a breathe of fresh air. To her grandkids she was a ray of sunshine, loving, funny and a little bit of gangsta. That’s what made her unique to them.

She will be especially missed by her husband, as she was his rock....They were an example of love and sacrifice in their marriage. He cared for her through her bouts with cancer and sickness. She was so appreciative that he stood next to her so she would not fall, even up to her last breath. God has called momma home to be a Guardian angel to watch over all of her loved ones.
