Nancy Ruth Scullen was born December 4, 1942, in Corning, Iowa, the daughter of Clyde and Nina Ruth (Hill) Hall. She passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Greenfield, Iowa, at the age of 78.

Nancy graduated from Corning High School and earned her CDA from DMACC in Ankeny. She lived in New York from 1964 to 1979 and then in Creston from 1979 to 2007 when she moved to Greenfield. Nancy was a retired Head Start Teacher for Matura Action Corporation. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, watching movies, traveling to the coast, her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Raymond Hall.

She is survived by her three children, Nina Utterback and husband Dwayne of Greenfield, Kerry Lewis and husband Rick of Creston and Daniel Schliessman III and wife Michelle of Creston; five grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Ricky, Harlee, Alex; great granddaughter, Havana; other relatives and friends.
