Officiating is Pastor Mark Underkofler of Cornerstone Fellowship. The Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional services. Norma E. Johnson passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at her son’s home in Revere, MO.

Norma was born July 5, 1923 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of Clyde and Opal Tippen Brown.

Norma graduated from high school in Buffalo, NY. For many years she owned and operated "The Hideaway" in Greenfield, IA. She was an avid bowler, and for many years bowled an average of three nights a week.

She was married to Robert Alan Engles, Sr. and they were the parents of three sons, Robert, James and Norbert. She later married Jack Donald Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; a son, Robert; and a grand-daughter, Jamie Nicole Johns.

Survivors include two sons, James (Sylvia) Engles of Revere, MO and Norbert Engles (Friend Ronda) of Greenfield, IA; daughter-in-law, Barbara Engles of Greenfield, IA; seven grandchildren and their families: Jason Engles (Melissa Menefee) of Fontanelle, IA and Andy Engles (Angie), of Greenfield, IA; Heather (Kevin) Burg of Atlantic, IA, Melinda (Bryce) Garrison of Middlesex, NJ, Jamie Engles of Atlantic, IA, Robbie Engles (Kassidy) of Greenfield, IA, and Nicole (Magner) Vazquez of Mt. Ayr, IA, Step-granddaughter: Heather Scigliamo of Kahoka, MO; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.
