Terry Standley, 63, of Texas (formerly of Greenfield)

Graveside Services:  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at the Grove Township Cemetery, north of Greenfield.  Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service.  The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Terry James Standley passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the age of 63.  Terry was born October 7, 1959, in Greenfield, Iowa to Larry Standley and Joy Brockman. 

Terry enjoyed working and retired from Chevron.  Terry was not a good idle sitter and always kept himself busy welding, wood working and building things.   He enjoyed hunting, traveling, reading John Grisham novels, and tending to his livestock.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family especially his grandchildren, in fact he was their number one fan at all their sporting events.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Standley.

Survivors include his mother, Joy Standley of Greenfield, Iowa; daughters, Jonna Pilapil and husband Patrick of Fritch, Brit Petitt and husband Walter of Turkey; eight grandchildren, Ciara, Eric, Jordyn, Karsyn, Weston, Ezra, Kaitlyn, Koa; brothers, Ted Standley and wife Brenda, Monte Standley, Randy Standley all of Greenfield, Iowa; sister, Patti Wieronski and husband David of Choctaw, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
