Veronica Maeder

Veronica Maeder passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Society in Fontanelle. 

Mass of the Resurrection: Will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield with burial in the Greenfield Cemetery. Father Ken Gross will officiate the service. A luncheon will follow the burial at the church.  

Visitation: Will be held on Monday morning one hour prior to services at the church. 

Not all of Veronica’s family could be here at this time, so plans are being made for all of her children to return to the area this summer for a gathering in remembrance of Veronica. 

Memorials: To the Veronica Maeder memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date. 

Survivors: She is survived by her children, Tony Maeder of Bonham, Texas, Jerry Maeder and wife Jean of Spring Valley, California, Marcia Gross and husband Matthew of Fontanelle, Marilyn Abeyta and husband Joe of North Las Vegas, Nevada and Terri Barber and husband Brad of Anita, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Faber of Ruthven, Iowa and Rita McTigue of Cary, North Carolina; other relatives and friends.
